Blackberry Messenger to Android and iOS Official Present June 27

After nearly a month ago announced at BlackBerry Live 2013, the Blackberry Messenger app for iOS and Android finally obtain exact date of launch.

Based on the announcement of BBMWorldWide account on Twitter, the message exchange application will be available starting June 27, 2013.

The announcement also included in the sample image of the application running on the iPhone. In the initial release later, BBM will support personal and group chat features, voice notes and share Blackberry Groups that can be enabled to share calendar information, files files, and so on.

After launch, BBM for Android and iOS will be further developed so that it has the same features as native BBM on the Blackberry 10.

Some of the features that will be added is voice and video calls, Screenshare, until Channels. The feature will be rolled out through the update.

Launch BBM for Android and iOS is addressed diverse. There were assessed as negative step because they will lose share of Blackberry handsets, but some are able to respond positively because it will raise the prestige of the Blackberry as a whole
