Sony Releases Hybrid and Laptop Vaio with Intel Haswell Chip


Sony has just announced the newest product line in the form of series Vaio laptop a Windows based 8. In this release, Sony introduced a laptop with a touch screen and laptop hybrid with slider keyboard that can turn into a tablet. Vaio Series Pro was released with the market for professional or student who travels a lot. In addition to standard features, the Vaio Pro is also equipped with NFC for easy communication. This laptop is available in a choice of 11 and 13 inches, and in it attached PCIe SSD drives with transfer rates 2-fold from SSD in a typical laptop. Pro Vaio laptop has a battery life up to 9 hours which can be extended up to two-fold with an extra battery.

The second laptop is a Vaio Duo is introduced, a PC hybrid slider which can be used as a laptop or tablet. To support its function, the Vaio Duo 13 is equipped with electronic pen and a rear 8 megapixel camera with Exmor sensor. Vaio Duo put on carbon fiber material that weighs only 1.3 pounds. Vaio Duo 13 also has a sleep standby mode that can connect to the internet with an optional 4G/LTE connection offered. Thereby, e-mail or updating apps can still go even if the laptop is 'sleeping'. Vaio Duo 13 also has a battery life up to 18 hours.

The second series Vaio laptop has a full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with Triluminuous technology that is claimed to make the color more pure and clearer. Sony's X-Reality technology pinning and ClearAudio +, plus the Rapid Wake technology to alert the laptop in less from 1 second. Vaio Pro is available starting June 9 in carbon black and carbon silver priced at USD 1149 and USD 1249. Vaio Duo 13 is available starting on June 9 in a choice of carbon black and white carbon price of USD 1399.
