Acer Iconia W3, First Windows 8 Tablet with 8 Inch Screen Release


After some time ago, there were leaks on Acer Iconia W3 tablet window 8, Acer has now officially released the first Windows 8 tablet with 8-inch screen through the Computex 2013 held in Taiwan. In addition to functioning as a tablet, the Acer Iconia W3 can also be used as a PC for Acer provides additional accessories such as keyboards.

Specifications of the tablet with a screen resolution of 1280x800 is indeed quite capable. In it embedded Intel Atom Z2760 processor dual-core 1.8 GHz. Provided 32GB/64GB internal storage options that can still be expanded via microSD up to 32GB. There is also a micro-HDMI port, microUSB connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, front and rear camera 2MP resolution. Acer claims, W3 Iconia tablet can last up to 8 hours when the battery is fully charged. Weighing just 540 grams and a thickness of 11.35 mm, this tablet can be plugged into the accessory keyboard and turn it into like a laptop. Keyboard accessory is able to connect using a Bluetooth connection, and is powered by a pair of AAA batteries.

Acer Iconia W3 with 32GB and 64GB capacity will be available in June at a price of € 329 and € 379. While the keyboard accessory is sold separately priced at € 69. To increase the attractiveness of a potential buyer, in the W3 Iconia already installed Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 at a value of € 139 applications.
