Tablet Blackberry Playbook Will Attend This Year

The report confirmed Mike Al Mefleh, Director of Product Management at BlackBerry, in sidelines of the event BlackBerry in Dubai.  Furthermore, the report reported, the BlackBerry will first provide an update BB10 for PlayBook devices currently on the market, and then just release a new tablet. The device is predicted to have a screen size of 10 inches and have been using BB10 out-of-box.

"We have a clear roadmapsangat. BlackBerry will release additional six new devices during the year 2013 and one of them is a 10-inch PlayBook tablet, "said Al Mefleh.

PlayBook which was launched in April 2011, failed to dominate the market because of the invasion of rival devices such as Apple's iPad and Samsung's Android tablet. Although BlackBerry is preparing to launch the first tablet using BlackBerry OS 10, it does not mean forgetting the first-generation PlayBook with measures seven inches. According to Al Mefleh, it is committed to provide an update for 7-inch PlayBook to be running BlackBerry OS 10. The updates are planned to be given before the release of the BlackBerry PlayBook 10 inches.

PlayBook has a specification such as 1024 x 600 screen resolution, processor 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. The device also has a 5MP rear camera and front 3MP resolution. An electronics distributor in the UK company said PlayBook sales is higher than mini iPad during the Christmas holidays. PlayBook sold 160,000 units, while the iPad sold 113,000 units.
