Microsoft Profit $ 19.9 billion in Q2 2013


Today Microsoft announced revenues of 19.9 billion dollars for the second quarter of this year (April-June). Operating income, net income and earnings per share, respectively: 6.07 billion dollars, 4.97 billion dollars and 0.59 dollars per share. Microsoft Business Division revenue grew 14 percent from the previous quarter, and 3 percent compared to last year. However there are load amounted to 900 million dollars is because tablet Surface RT who less behavior.

While the Windows Division revenue was up 6 percent from the previous quarter and 5 percent over the previous year. For Xbox Live income rose nearly 20 percent rapidly. '' This quarter has decreased in the PC market, but the demand for enterprise and cloud services is still strong, such as Office 365, Outlook.com, Skype and Xbox Live. We will focus investment required for cloud services growth opportunities in the long term,'' said Amy Hoof, Microsoft CFO.
