Google Announces Play Games, Services Game Center for Android

Along with the announcement of a new generation of Nexus 7 and Android 4.3, Google also announced a new service Google Play Games, an application that functions like Game Center on iOS, the game portal you and your comrades. This application allows you to see the leaderboard, your friends who play the same game, and the ability to challenge your friends in multiplayer games. Here are some key features on Google Play Games:


  • Cloud Saves: to save game to the virtual world so you can play with different devices.
  • API for Achievement: game developers can incorporate what can be obtained in the game made their gamers.
  • Leaderboards: Like Xbox Live, Steam or the PlayStation Network, this feature will allow you to see your ranking compared to your colleagues or the whole world.
  • Matching Multiplayer: You can easily connect to friends or strangers to online multiplayer gaming historians.


Play Games Applications should be available today on the Google Play Store. But it seems we in Indonesia have not been able to enjoy this service, because the application is said to be compatible with all Android devices that have been registered by the author to Play Store, including the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7. Sought through a smartphone used by the author when this has not been found.
